- Cutten/NC: 29 Mar 1827, in New Bern NC. Announcing his removal from his stand on Middle Street to a shop on Craven Street, where watches and compasses would be repaired and other silver work done. 25
- His obituary was published in the Newbern Spectator on 11 Oct 1839 in New Bern NC. "Died, At Mobile, on the 20th September last, at the venerable age of "three score and ten," Col. Nathan Tisdale." 25
