  Events in his life were:

  • He worked in 1824-1835 as a pewtersmith in Meriden CT 11
  • He was a partner in 1835-1837 with Joseph Burnham Henshaw in Wallingford CT as YALE & HENSHAW. They leased the turning and casting rooms "lately occupied by Thomas S. Derby" for two years from Charles Yale. In 1836, Henshaw opened a branch office in New York City where they were termed "Commission Merchants and Importers and Manufacturers of Japanned Tin and Britannia Wares." 11
