  • He worked circa 1760 as a silversmith in Hebron CT apprenticed and working as silversmith in Hebron. 3
  • Windham CT, 1764: convicted of counterfeiting and fined £50 and £29 costs. Fled to Great Barrington MA and continued counterfeiting, especially Spanish dollars. Captured in Albany NY, he was tried, convicted, and hung in April 1773. "No gain afforded me so much pleasure as that which I acquired by illicit means." 3
