    In 1835, his shop was on Cotton Avenue, opposite Washington Hall. On 8 October 1838, he notified the public that he had moved to the store on Mulberry Street lately occupied by Mr. D. W. Pratt. On 29 Jan 1846, Sidney B. Day announced he had purchased the remaining stock of the late C. G. St John. 15
  • Advertised in the Georgia Telegraph (Macon GA), 13 Dec 1834, the opening of a new shop, offering fine jewelery, chains, seals, breast pins, etc. 15
  • Advertised in the Georgia Telegraph (Macon GA), 9 Oct 1838, announcing he had moved to the shop on Mulberry Street formerly occupied by D. W. Pratt. 15
