  Events in his life were:

  • Flynt & Fales:, . 3 A descendant of one of the first families to settle in Ashford. Bought land there Feb. 20, 1800, consisting of one acre and nine rods on south side of Westford Road, directly opposite his shop. Property including his shop was sold 17 September 1805 and resold five years later. At that time the shop was referred to as a goldsmith shop. While the house is still occupied a half-mile from Eastford Center, there is no evidence of the shop.
  • He worked circa 1795-1806 as a gold- and silversmith, clock- and watchmaker in Ashford CT 4
  • Advertised in the Windham Herald, Jan 1804, as gold- and silversmith, watch- and clockmaker. 3
  • He worked in 1807-1817 as a gold- and silversmith, clock- and watchmaker in Auburn NY 3
