• Alternate Mark this mark, formerly attributed to William Rollinsonon rather tenuous grounds, is here given to Roe. It is found, together with a NY sheaf mark, on a pair of c 1810 coffin end spoons with handle cartouche engraving very similar in design and execution to two other coffin spoons marked with Roe's standard mark.
