  Events in her life were:

  • She was a partner in 1891-1892 with Josephine and Florence Whiting in North Attleboro MA as F. M. WHITING. At the death of Frank Mortimer Whiting, his business was continued by his widow, mother, and two sisters. In 1895, the company was converted to a stock company under the name F. M. WHITING & Co. In 1896, the firm's name was changed to FRANK. M. WHITING & Co. after a lawsuit brought by WHITING MANUFACTURING. The firm was also required to drop its griffin mark. In 1924, it was sold to Ellmore Silver Co. 12

Rebecca married William Dean Whiting, son of Lemuel Whiting and Nancy Blackington, on 17 Dec 1839 in Dedham MA. (William Dean Whiting was born on 23 Dec 1815 in Attleboro MA and died on 25 Nov 1891 in Attleboro MA.)
